Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a QA & Safety Auditor to plan and execute internal safety and quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with FSSC, HACCP and Food Act requirements. You will monitor test results and drive improvements across processes and labs.

The role involves developing SOPs, training internal auditors, conducting swab and microbiological tests, and responding to external audits to maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science/Food Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal safety and quality assurance/control functions through effective planning, directing, controlling and follow-through of audit programs.
• Ensure compliance of FSSC, HACCP, Food Act and Regulations and best laboratory practices to meet stringent quality expectations by customers and regulators.
• Monitor, analyze and feedback test results to relevant process owners and Management for strategic decision making.
• Set up and maintain SOPs for the department and plan training/certification of internal auditors to ensure compliance.
• Conduct tests such as swab tests and microbiological tests to ensure food safety standards are maintained.
• Organize lab stock inventory, quote and purchase necessary items for smooth operation.
• Respond to customer requests and external audits within specified timeframes.

Education
