Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Port Klang, Selangor, is looking for a QA/QC specialist to develop and maintain quality assurance procedures. Duties include monitoring production processes, conducting audits, and supervising quality control inspections. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work in an ISO environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with similar position level.
  • Preferably have experience in ISO working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain QA procedures and documentation.
  • Monitor production processes for compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct internal and external audits.
  • Supervise daily QC inspection activities and analyze test data.
  • Authorize inspection activities to ensure quality consistency.

Job description
Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain QA procedures and documentation.

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.

Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits (ISO, customer audits, etc.)

Conduct process audits to close the gap of actual practice against procedures.

Ensure traceability of raw materials and finished products.

Provide training to staff on quality awareness and procedures.

Handling Customer Complaint from Sales/Marketing Department and work out with respective department to identify root cause and corrective action to be taken.

Handling of incoming inspection failure (supplier NCR) and work out with respective department.

Quality Control

Supervise daily QC inspection activities on raw materials, in-process items and finished goods.

Analyze test data and reports to identify product defects and deviations.

Work with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Approve or reject raw materials and final product based on inspection results.

Maintain proper documentation for inspection result, test records and non-conformance reports (NCR)

Authorities

To liaise with all HOD/HOS regarding to any of the quality issue in term of product spec, process parameters, trial run and new products.

Authorize to request manpower, equipment for QC inspection use, outsourcing external calibration and also QC equipment repairing.

Authorize to follow up daily IQC and Final QC inspection activities in order to ensure implementation results is tally with the planned results, if not, corrective action shall be taken immediately to prevent recurrence.

Authorize to follow up, verify and arrange for production wastage control (i.e.: PP yarns, PE yarns, wastage rope and twine).

To conduct on job training to all QC Inspector, QC Leader and new QC employee as according to training needs identification matrix.

Authorize to prepare and approve the training records & training evaluation forms.

Authorize to attend HOD meeting and present the QA/QC inspection activities (i.e.: Weekly / Monthly QA/QC report, IQC & Final QC inspection performance, production wastage control status & etc.)

Compétence

Minimum Education : Diploma in any of the engineering field or above.

Minimum Skill : Computer literate, fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Minimum Experience : At least 3-5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment with similar position level, preferably with ISO working environment.
