A leading manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the QA department. The role includes managing customer interfaces, implementing quality systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of TS16949, QS 9000.
• Experience in audits and documentary control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the QA department and customer interface.
• Implement and maintain quality and environment systems.
• Drive continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with EHS procedures.

Overseeing the QA department inclusive of in-coming, outgoing, containment, QMS, EMS system and customer interface

Corrective action and permanent action pursuance, reply, follow-up and verification

Tracking QOS data for management review

Formulating the MSA capability for all tools and gauges

Overseeing the Internal Quality Audit activities and monitor the effectiveness of IQA

Supervision of QA/QMS section

Develop, review, implement and maintain the quality and environment systems

Identify the point of improvement in term of quality, productivity, safety, health and environment

Report and monitor the performance of quality and environment systems to top management for review and improvement

MR for both quality and environmental systems

Drive continuous improvement program via PQS and QOS systems

To implement and fulfil EHS procedures such as use of PPE, understand the chemical biodata, label and safety data sheet, segregate waste and report any incident happen immediately

To be accountable for consistent application of Quality and Environmental Management system effectiveness throughout the department

To ensures that all the staff within the department complies with and support in the Quality, Safety and Health, Environment program, policies, procedures of Quality and Environmental Management system requirements.

Other duties assign by Section Head from time to time

Job Requirements:

Tertiary education in Engineering/Science

Knowledge in SPC, TS16949, ISO 9000 & QS 9000 Quality Systems, audits and documentary control

Able to manage a group of people

Able to solve employee’s problem

Minimum 8 years experience in similar position
