Job summary

Kerry is hiring a QA Lab Technician at Work Location Pasir Gudang 2, Johor, to ensure products meet quality and food safety standards through in-process and finished product testing.

You will support GLP, GMP, HACCP, and related systems, calibrate equipment, prepare reagents, maintain records, and train new QA personnel. Shift rotations and overtime may apply in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or higher; Diploma adds advantage.
• Basic hands-on lab equipment experience.
• Familiarity with GLP practices.
• Knowledge of HACCP/GMP/ISO/FSSC 22000 is a plus.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under production timelines.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and finished product testing per SOP.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and 5S.
• Calibrate laboratory measuring equipment per schedule.
• Prepare standard test solutions and reagents.
• Prepare samples for pre-shipment requirements and external testing.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of laboratory supplies.
• Assist in training new QA personnel.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
