Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Penang is looking for a quality inspector. The role involves investigating production line rejects, maintaining quality records, and ensuring conformance of parts. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a comprehensive knowledge of inspection tools. CMM certification is a plus. Overtime work may be required.

Job description

Investigate production line reject and incorporate into inspection check sheet.

Filling, update and maintain all quality records / reports.

Proactively monitor on all rejected parts to meet the required conformance.

Expertly handle all customer return parts, analyze the problem and comply to the drawings' requirements.

To check 100% dimensional inspection for all F.A. parts and feedback to Section Head / Manager.

To carry out inspection (visual inspection and measurement) on sampling basis for all mass-production parts.

Responsible to assign proper checking method.

Additional ad-hoc tasks by Management and Supervisor.

Job Requirement (Specific skills & competencies required)

• CMM Certification is a plus.
