The role

We are seeking a dedicated QA Inspector to join our team at Santomas Sdn Bhd in Kulim, Kedah. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to verify compliance with quality standards
• Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformances, and work with the production team to implement corrective actions
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the quality management system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality processes and procedures
• Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality control best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and quality control methodologies

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or a similar quality control role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of quality control principles, tools, and techniques
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying quality issues
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the production team
• Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
