Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kerteh, Terengganu is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards, performing statistical analysis on product performance, and collaborating with inspectors on quality issues. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a QA/QC area.
• Members of Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Display politeness, friendliness, and professionalism throughout customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies on quality and carry out Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Involve in ISO 9001 standard certification and audits.
• Initiate process improvements for quality plans and training programs.
• Work with customer or third‑party inspectors on quality issues.
• Initiate failure investigations and respond to customer complaints.
• Prepare work instructions and enforce quality control standards.
• Verify record tests and measurements in the QC Database.
• Prepare reports on inspection progress and quality performance.
• Perform statistical analysis on product performance.
• Ensure testing equipment is well-maintained and calibrated.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills

Strong command in written and spoken English

Strong command in Bahasa Malaysia

Good analytical skill

Hands-on technical problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Responsible to follow company policies on quality and carry out Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsible to involve in ISO 9001 standard certification and audit.

Initiate process improvements to establish and implement quality plans, procedures and training programs to achieve required level of product quality, reliability with compliance to ISO 9001.

Responsible to work with customer or third‑party inspectors on all aspects of quality and safety issues and attend to customer concerns relating to quality of product and/or service including Factory Acceptance Test.

Responsible to initiate failure investigation and respond to customer complaints on a timely basis.

Responsible to prepare the work instructions.

Responsible to enforce quality control standards compliance with quality and specification.

Responsible to accurately verify record tests and measurements in the QC Database.

Responsible to prepare report on inspection progress and quality performance.

Responsible to perform statistical analysis on product performance.

Responsible to ensure testing equipment’s are in good condition and well maintained.

Responsible to ensure testing equipment’s are calibrated and monitored.

Responsible to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulation.

Any other duties that may be given by the Management from time to time.

Position Requirements

Possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a QA/QC area.

Strong command in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word application.
