Job summary

A leading printing company in Penang is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee IQC/IPQC/OQA processes and manage quality performance. The role involves preparing reports, conducting audits, and leading improvement activities. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in engineering with at least 2-3 years of experience in quality control and knowledge in QMS or related fields. Strong technical skills and a detail-oriented personality are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of working experience in quality control.
• Knowledge of QMS/EMS/HACCP/GMP related controls.
• Technical skills in related fields are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in IQC/IPQC/OQA processes.

Job description

Supervise and assist in IQC/IPQC/OQA process

Supervise and assist in data collection for internal/external rejects & errors

Develop and maintain Quality Control specification and procedure

Work with Engineering, Production and Suppliers to understand the root cause of internal/external rejects & errors

Prepare IQC/IPQC/OQA/Customer Complaint report for management and stakeholders

Set expectations and manage quality performance of external suppliers. Perform supplier audit when necessary

Proactive implementation of Prevention & Correction action implementation, 8D, RCCA, CAPA audit

Liaise with the Customers on the customer complaints and/or reject.

To lead improvements activities.

Liaising with customer on complaints & feedback using CAR procedure

Familiar with ISO 9001, 5S, FMEA, SPC, and other quality tools.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree holder in Engineering or any related field.
• At least 2 – 3 years of working experience
• Knowledge of QMS/EMS/HACCP/GMP/ related QC controls.
• Preferably has technical skills in related fields
• Candidate with Printing industries is advantage
