Job summary

A leading retail company in Klang City is seeking a Purchasing Executive/Management Trainee (Buyer) who will be responsible for liaising with suppliers, conducting market surveys, and managing stock allocations. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma and possess negotiation and organizational skills. This role offers a fixed schedule from Monday to Friday, at the Pandamaran, Port Klang location.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field.
• Preferably 1 to 2 years working experience in a similar position.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers and carry out negotiation.
• Conduct market survey from time to time.
• Control stock flow including quality and timely stock arrival.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for proper storage.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

Purchasing Executive/Management Trainee (Buyer)

Liaise with suppliers and carry out negotiation.

Looking for new suppliers & conduct market survey from time to time.

Understand the consumer needs and the market trend.

Control stocks flow including ensuring quality and timely stock arrival.

Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.

Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

Monitor and managing stock allocations to outlets and interpret sales forecast.

Process payment arrangement, invoices and purchase orders.

Any other ad hoc task assigned by the management from time to time

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma/ Degree in any field

Preferably 1 to 2 years working experience at similar position

Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply

Mandarin literate is an added advantage

Strong organizational & time management skills

Applicants must be willing to work in Pandamaran, Port Klang

5 working days, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm, Fixed hour & on site
