Purchasing Executive (Based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya)

NuEnergy Holdings Berhad is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and is actively involved in the solar renewable energy business.

We are now hiring a Purchasing Executive.

Responsibilities
  • Process all purchase requisitions.
  • Identify and contact suppliers to obtain price quotes.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing.
  • Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
Inventory Control
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excess.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and databases.
  • Implement inventory control strategies to optimize levels and minimize costs.
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish stock.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation to prevent obsolescence.
  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Work with sales, operations, finance to forecast demand and optimize inventory.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, or pricing issues.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper storage and handling of inventory.
  • Analyze purchase costs, identify cost‑reduction opportunities, and recommend cost‑effective alternatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring their reliability and responsiveness.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of purchasing and inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Utilize inventory management software (Autocount) and systems to track inventory, costs, and performance.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, costs, and performance to management.
