Join Our Team as Purchasing Executive

Are you a reliable, trustworthy and detail-oriented individual with experience in a spare parts purchasing role, ideally focused on the commercial aviation industry. Skyways Technics is looking for Purchasing staff to join our growing team at our facilities in Subang, Malaysia! This is a great opportunity for young professionals who want to work in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will report to Skyways Technics Purchasing Manager APAC.

Responsibilities
  • Source for new suppliers considering prices, lead times and quality.
  • Ensure that the spares trading needs are met.
  • Participate in meetings with suppliers.
  • Support direct reports as needed.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best possible service offerings with respect to lead time vs. price and quality.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises.
  • Build a preferred supplier listing with primary, secondary, and tertiary options.
  • Proactively propose new purchasing channels, concepts, and methods.
  • Follow all relevant procedures and policies.
  • Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.
  • Perform all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards set by the company.
  • Handle and ensure deliveries of parts to Skyways Technics are on time.
Qualifications & Working Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in aviation industry
  • Possess a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in related fields
  • Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing
  • Effective communication
  • Might be required to work on shift
  • Strong interpersonal skills, who inspires and leads naturally
  • Self-motivated and performance driven
  • Multi-tasker, Hands on and Team Player
  • An existing network of suppliers in commercial aviation aftermarket sector
