Join Our Team as Purchasing Executive

Skyways Technics is looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and detail‑oriented Purchasing staff member to join our facilities in Subang, Malaysia. This is a great opportunity for young professionals who want to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.

You will report to the Skyways Technics Purchasing Manager APAC.

Responsibilities
  • Source new suppliers considering price, lead time and quality.
  • Ensure that the spares trading needs are met.
  • Participate in meetings with suppliers.
  • Support direct reports as needed.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible service offerings in terms of lead time, price and quality.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises.
  • Build a preferred supplier listing with primary, secondary and tertiary options.
  • Proactively propose new purchasing channels, concepts and methods.
  • Follow all relevant procedures and policies.
  • Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.
  • Perform all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards set by the company.
  • Handle and ensure deliveries of parts to Skyways Technics are on time.
Qualifications & Working Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • May be required to work on shift.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; natural leader and inspirer.
  • Self‑motivated and performance driven.
  • Multi‑tasker, hands‑on and team player.
  • An existing network of suppliers in commercial aviation aftermarket sector.
  • Knowledge of Airbus, Boeing or Embraer aircraft is a plus.
