Purchasing Executive – 1 person

Job Scope:

The short version: To source, follow up supplier from local & overseas, complete with air-freight and purchase admin work together with the team.

The long version: Source new suppliers and compare existing supplier listing to seek for better prices, cooperation, lead time and service provision. Required to communicate with China supplier on purchasing details through messaging app. Gather market information, explore, and source trusted/alternative supplier, negotiate and purchase potential promotional gifts in good quality and optimal acquisition cost by accordance to guidelines. Negotiate on price and terms on the purchase and maintain good relationship with supplier. Manage and ensure the consistency of supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery and responsive service and support. Liaise & Update with superior for order & purchasing issue. Order goods as per negotiated and appropriately approved by Purchaser Superior. Process and issue Purchase Order & Email to supplier, billing etc and coordinate payments to suppliers. Check and acknowledge receipt goods from suppliers. Required to assist Sales Team to close case.

A day of a Purchaser working day scenario:

Monday morning routine I will be checking on my messaging app to continue what left over message on last Saturday that I had communicate with China Supplier. Usually on Saturday I will be following up job through communication only. Later, I will start look into enquiry email that sales require for quotation and other product assistant to help get the order. After my lunch, I will go into warehouse to check the stocks which arrived this morning informed by warehouse. I will help look into the product to ensure order placed is correct and no problem. If there is, I will mark down and follow up closely with warehouse later on. So that we can discuss, solve the problem with superior. Working on daily email enquiry, placing PO and sourcing enquiry from China is my routine work. We also will have a team discussion with superior to understand the market needs and trend. And yes, scouring for samples from China can be excited and fun!

Our Requirement:

Fluent in write/speak in Mandarin by using email, phone & messaging app is a must.

Fresh Graduate with holding Diploma / Degree is encourage to apply. Your application will definitely look through into it.

Candidates with related industry experience added advantage. Trustworthy and a good personality added advantage. Having responsibility and work with deadlines. Must be able to write and speak in Bahasa Melayu, English Fluently. Operating Microsoft Outlook, Excel and basic Email and Computer skill for work. Able to work in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. This is a Full Time Job.
