Job summary

A leading manufacturer of electrical components is seeking a Procurement Specialist to enhance supplier relationships and streamline sourcing processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in ERP systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Fluency in Korean is an added advantage. What you'll be doing

• Sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of high-quality materials and components
• Negotiating favourable pricing and delivery terms with suppliers
• Maintaining detailed inventory records and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Collaborating with production and logistics teams to plan and execute material requirements
• Streamlining procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations
• Providing regular reporting on purchasing activities and inventory status

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficient in using ERP systems and data analysis tools to manage inventory and track purchasing trends
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices
• Able to speak Korean language, both written and verbal is an added advantage.
