Join the dynamic team at OKM Valve (M) Sdn Bhd as a full-time Purchasing Executive based in Shah Alam, Selangor. In this key role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring the necessary materials, components and services to support the company's manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for materials and components.

Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate for the best purchase terms.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and on time.

Monitor and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of goods.

Coordinate closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure material availability.

Maintain proper purchasing records, supplier databases, and documentation.

Work with the quality department to handle any supplier issues or material non-conformance.

Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and ISO standards.

Continuously identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

What we're looking for

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.

Familiar with Microsoft Office and purchasing/ERP systems.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
