KUANG YEE IMAGE PRESS SDN BHD' is seeking a passionate and skilled Purchasing Executive to join our dynamic team in Nibong Tebal, Penang. As a Purchasing Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of materials and supplies to support our manufacturing operations. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you’ll be doing

Coordinate and execute the procurement of raw materials, components, and other supplies required for production

Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and maintain strong relationships

Manage and monitor the inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with production schedules and requirements

Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to purchasing activities

Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and policies

What we’re looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry

Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve procurement-related issues

Proficient in using procurement software and tools to manage orders, inventory, and supplier data

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to cross-functional projects

Familiarity with procurement best practices and regulations, including cost-saving strategies

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia , Mandarin is an added advantage
