Job summary

Job description
Responsibilities

Coordinate all purchasing activities including order tracking, delivery scheduling, and status monitoring.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records using internal tracking systems.

Source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable pricing and terms.

Prepare and compile all necessary documentation such as Delivery Orders (DO), Invoices, Purchase Orders (PO), and Purchase Requisitions (PR) for Goods Receipt (GR) entry in the system.

Submit complete documentation to the accounts department for timely payment processing.

Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations to ensure quality and compliance.

Generate and submit monthly purchasing reports to management.

Support ad-hoc assignments and tasks as required by the management team.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Good command of the English language and Bahasa Malaysia (oral and written). Proficiency in Chinese (written and oral) is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
