Job summary

VisDynamics Research Sdn Bhd in Melaka, Malaysia is seeking a responsible Purchasing Clerk to support daily purchasing, supplier coordination and inventory activities. The role requires attention to detail and initiative, with exposure to ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX being an advantage.

You will process POs, monitor delivery schedules, obtain quotations, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and assist with inventory and related transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory or administration is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX / ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work OT when required.

Responsibilities

• Process Purchase Orders (PO) and purchasing transactions using Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Monitor PO status, outstanding orders and delivery schedules.
• Obtain quotations and follow up with suppliers on orders and deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assist with inventory and material-related transactions.
• Verify POs, invoices, delivery orders and other purchasing documents.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records.
• Assist in resolving purchasing, delivery and inventory issues.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Finance and other departments.
• Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Process Purchase Orders (PO) and purchasing transactions using Microsoft Dynamics AX
