Job description

- Overseeing the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations supplies and services. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services necessary for the company's operations, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in the procurement process to achieve financial targets.

Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for MRO supplies and services to ensure cost savings and supply chain efficiency.

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor MRO purchasing team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Ad Hoc Requests: Respond to and manage ad hoc procurement requests from various departments, ensuring timely and efficient resolution

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to Management.

Qualification and Skills:

Bachelor’s in Business Studies / Administration/ Management or any related field.

Experience and knowledge of Purchasing & other business-related matters.

Ensures compliance with standard practices, regulations and statutes.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
