Job summary

A growing manufacturing company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to assist in procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have at least a SPM/STPM qualification and experience in a manufacturing purchasing environment. Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, sourcing products, and ensuring timely deliveries. The role offers working hours from Monday to Friday and Saturdays until 1 PM, along with a salary range of RM1.5k - 2.3k.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a SPM/STPM qualification.
• Possess working experience in manufacturing purchasing & procurement environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and pc literate.
• Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude and pleasant personality.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibility

• Perform procurement activities and ensure smooth supply and on-time delivery of raw materials and current stock level.
• Assist and coordinate with related departments and suppliers on the product quality and other product related matters.
• Involved in sourcing, price comparison and monitoring on price variation of supplies.
• Assist in document matching, key-in data into system and arrange payment to suppliers.
• Monitor and ensure an up to date documentation control.
• Undertake work specified by HOD.
