Job summary

A building material supplier in Johor Bahru is seeking a Purchaser to manage purchase orders and maintain optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in hardware or building materials. This role involves preparing purchase quotations, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Competitive salary up to RM5,000 negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or above or any other equivalent qualification.

Job Description

• Prepare and handle purchase quotation, PO and DO.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
• Follow up order by coordinating with customers, vendors, and transporters to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules, ensuring smooth procurement processes.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure availability of materials as per production schedules.
• Undertake and perform other duties which may be assigned to you by your superior.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or above or any others equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Purchaser.
• With purchaser experience in hardware/building material is preferrable and salary is negotiable.
