Job summary

A food production company in Seri Kembangan is hiring a Purchaser to manage sourcing and procurement processes. The successful candidate will negotiate with suppliers, prepare purchase orders, and maintain accurate stock levels. Ideal applicants have a diploma or degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years of experience in procurement, though fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. Competitive salary between RM2,300 and RM3,000 based on experience, with Monday to Friday working hours.

We’re Hiring: Purchaser – Darafood Sdn Bhd
Location: Seri Kembangan, Selangor
Salary: RM2,300 – RM3,000 (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Darafood Sdn Bhd is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchaser to manage our sourcing, procurement, and stock replenishment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by securing the right materials, packaging, and supplies on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to get the best quality and pricing
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, delivery orders, and related documents
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and finance teams on material requirements
  • Track deliveries, follow up with suppliers, and resolve supply issues
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and food safety/halal standards
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (fresh graduates with interest in purchasing are encouraged to apply)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with basic inventory or procurement systems
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skillsResponsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (On-site at Seri Kembangan, Selangor)
