Job description

We're seeking an experienced Purchaser to join our team at MLE PRECISION SDN BHD' in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. As a Purchaser, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring we have the right materials and supplies at the right time to meet our production targets. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career development within a growing and innovative company.

What you’ll be doing

Identify and source the best suppliers for raw materials, components, and other supplies required for our manufacturing processes.

Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.

Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Urge suppliers to deliver goods on time, conduct appearance and quantity checks on purchased materials, and hand them over to the quality department for quality inspection. Promptly coordinate and resolve any issues that arise during material supply.

Continuously research the market to identify new suppliers and cost‑saving opportunities.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations.

Regularly contact suppliers, maintain good cooperative relationships, and enhance the company’s credibility.

What we’re looking for

Required Diploma or bachelor’s degree.

Language

Proficient in Mandrin, English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken). We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Fresh Graduate are encouraged to apply.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Strong sense of responsibility and professional discipline are necessary for this position.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
