A leading corporate organization in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an experienced Public Relations Assistant to support the Public Relations Manager. Key responsibilities include managing communications with local government agencies, translating documents, and preparing essential company documents. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, and 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Min. 2 - 5 years of experience in Public/Corporate Affairs or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Public Relation Manager and represent the company in meetings with local government.
  • Maintain good relationships with local government agencies.
  • Handle company-related documents and write external documents.
  • Translate documents from Malay to English.

Job description

Assist Public Relation Manager, represent the company to participate in relevant meetings and events with local government agency. Maintain good relationship with local government agency and communicate with them. Responsible to apply permit needed in daily operation of the company. Independently handle company related documents and write company's external documents, letters and mail. Assist Public Relation Manager to translate documents, text and language from Malay to English, and make sure they understand all the content given. Complete the task given by Public Relation Manager, and entertain the visit of local government agency. Responsible to apply other countries business visa through embassy located in Malaysia. Responsible to apply & renewal employment pass (EP) for expatriate come from China.

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent, preferably in Public Affairs, Laws, Economics, Communication, etc.
  • Min. 2 - 5 years of experience in Public/Corporate Affairs or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
  • A communicator who works well independently and is a team player.
  • Good time management skills and ability to multitask, project management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as the ability to relate to and rally staff at various levels.
