The Public Affairs Lead will coordinate and lead Public Affairs activities across Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore (TMS) territories within scope, integrating corporate and business objectives for both Pharma and Vaccines portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement public affairs strategies aligned with corporate objectives and the businesses.
    • Provide strategic public affairs and issues management to the Head of Corporate Affairs MCO and cross‑functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and policy influencers.
    • Represent Sanofi's interests to government ministers, national policy decision makers, trade associations, and patient organizations.
    • Develop and implement a strategic stakeholder engagement program to build trusted relationships with key influencers.
  • Policy Advocacy & Business Growth
    • Shape the external environment to support sustainable growth and enhance Sanofi's industry leadership.
    • Advocate for improvements to pricing, access regulations, and new market opportunities aligned with business needs.
    • Position Sanofi as an industry leader, lobbying for a better ecosystem to support life sciences industry growth.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination
    • Coordinate public affairs activities across TMS countries, ensuring alignment with the "One Sanofi Voice" approach.
    • Work across business units to identify cross‑cutting policy priorities and ensure consistent external messaging.
    • Support corporate functions and GBUs with public affairs expertise to advance business objectives.
About You
  • Degree in Law, Mass Communications, Public Affairs, Public Policy or similar discipline.
  • A minimum of 5‑years Healthcare exposure with good understanding of stakeholder engagement techniques, government affairs, market access and policymaking process.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of government relations, policy and market shaping, plus lobbying efforts and experience in leading a Public Affairs or Government Affairs Department in an MNC.
  • Experience in a senior role where business management, networking and leadership skills were a core landscape and relevance to industry/business strategy.
  • Strength in collaboration and influencing, a strategic mind set, and a doer.
  • Politically‑savvy, interested in engaging with a large variety of stakeholders with proven leadership ability.
  • Productive network with key media, government, policy and industry stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Proven ability to operate in a cross‑cultural, complex matrix environment, as well as in stakeholder management.
  • Analytical and forward thinker, problem solver, results oriented, self‑organized and self‑starter.
