The programme will be for 12 months and will have a combination of intensive soft skill classroom training and on‑the‑job training opportunities. You will learn practical skills and real‑life experiences at Maxis that will help guide you towards a successful future.

Project Management Protégé will play a key role in the Maxis’s project. This position supports a variety of network and ICT projects, including implementation, operation, monitoring, maintenance, reporting, and technical assistance. It combines management, technical and administrative duties, offering exposure to both network and ICT projects under Maxis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the implementation of network and ICT projects, ensuring the project meets technical specifications and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
    • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
    • Track project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
    • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including IT managers, vendors, and users.
    • Document all project phases and ensure compliance with organisational policies and standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of project activities and decisions.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide technical assistance and support during and after project implementation.
    • Ensure the maintenance and security of network and ICT systems and infrastructure are carried out in a timely manner.
    • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of network hardware and software to prevent issues before they arise.
    • Perform network performance checks and assessments to ensure services comply with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
    • Assist end users via phone, email, or chat to resolve technical issues related to network and ICT projects.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist in preparing procurement documents, including tenders, quotations, and contracts for network and ICT projects.
    • Manage inventory of network and ICT project deliverables, ensuring adequate services and payment requirements.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings, training sessions, and project timelines.
    • Handle invoicing and financial documentation related to network and IT projects.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on network and ICT activities and project progress.
Preferred Qualification & Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in networking or ICT security (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CISSP).
  • Experience in network management, technical support, or ICT project management (advantageous but not mandatory).
  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Preference will be given to graduates with no prior working experience and who are currently unemployed.
