Benns Ethicoa Chocolate Factory Sdn Bhd – Balakong, Selangor
The Promoter cum Merchandiser is responsible for promoting Benns EthicoaChocolate products, ensuring excellent product display, maintaining stock levels, and delivering outstanding customer service at assigned outlets. This role plays a key part in building brand visibility and driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively promote Benns EthicoaChocolate products to customers.
- Provide product information, tasting (if applicable), and recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and communicate brand values (ethical sourcing, artisan quality, etc.).
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and engaging approach with customers.
- Ensure product displays are neat, attractive, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Arrange products according to planogram or promotional requirements.
- Monitor and replenish stocks at outlets to avoid out-of-stock situations.
<>Ensure correct price tags and promotional materials are displayed.
3. Outlet Relationship & Coordination
- Build good working relationships with store managers and staff.
- Report any issues related to product placement, competitor activity, or outlet needs.
- Support in setting up promotional displays and in-store activation when required.
4. Inventory Management
- Perform regular stock checks and record inventory levels.
- Report stock movements, returns, and expiry checks to the Sales/Marketing team.
- Ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practice is consistently applied.
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports as required.
- Share customer feedback and market insights to help improve sales strategies.
Requirements :
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Experience in merchandising, retail sales, FMCG or promoter roles is an advantage.
- Ability to speak Chinese is required, as the position will be based in a tourist area.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality and positive working attitude.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to travel to assigned outlets (if required).
- Able to work weekends, public holidays, and promotional events.
- Must possess own transportation to ensure reliability in reaching various work locations.
