Job summary

A leading office furniture supplier in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage cross-functional teams and drive sales growth. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in sales or project coordination. The position offers a salary between MYR 3,000 and MYR 4,500, and proficiency in English is essential, while Mandarin fluency is an advantage.

About Our Client:

Our client designs, manufactures and supplies a wide range of office furniture — workstations, office chairs, meeting and conference tables, storage units, partitions, pods, accessories, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and motivate a cross-functional team to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide proactive sales support to drive growth in sales turnover and promote the company’s professional image.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration among team members, promoting a positive and productive team environment.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges within the team, ensuring that all members are aligned and focused on project goals.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required standards of quality and are completed within the agreed-upon timeline and budget.
  • Continuously evaluate project processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
Job Requirements:
  • Possess Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • Minimum 2 years above of working experience in sales, project coordination, or a related role.
  • Preferably with experience in the office furniture and manufacturing industry, handling B2B sales and project-based client solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and achieving sales targets.
  • Good command of spoken and written English. Fluent in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and software.
Remuneration:

MYR 3,000 - MYR 4,500
