Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, coordination, and maintenance of overall project planning and scheduling activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
 - Prepare, monitor, and update detailed project schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases in accordance with project objectives.
 - Develop and implement project planning systems, work breakdown structures (WBS), and progress measurement methodologies aligned with contractual and client requirements.
 - Coordinate with all project disciplines and contractors to gather progress data and update schedules, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information.
 - Analyze schedule deviations, identify potential delays or critical paths, and propose corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
 - Prepare regular progress reports, forecasts, and performance indicators (S-curves, histograms, critical path analysis) for management and client review.
 - Support project management in planning reviews, coordination meetings, and schedule risk assessments.
 - Ensure integration and alignment between planning, cost control, and project control systems.
 - Provide guidance and technical support to project teams in the effective use of planning tools and techniques.
 - Utilize advanced planning software (e.g. Primavera P6) to develop, monitor, and control project schedules throughout all project phases.
 
Requirements
- Recognized Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent educational background.
 - Minimum fifteen (15) years of practical experience in oil and gas projects, including onshore, offshore, facilities, and pipeline scopes.
 - Minimum seven (7) years of experience as a Project Planner / Planning Engineer in oil and gas projects (onshore, offshore, facilities, and pipeline).
 - Vast knowledge and extensive experience in project planning and scheduling, including proficiency in planning software such as Primavera and other related tools.
 - Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
 - Excellent communication and coordination abilities across multidisciplinary project teams.
 - Proven experience in managing multiple schedules and delivering accurate planning outputs under tight deadlines.
 - Sound understanding of EPC project execution and project control methodologies.
