Job summary

Ambu is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Respiratory & ENT Solutions team in Global R&D at our Penang innovation site. You will lead cross-functional development projects, coordinating with colleagues across locations and external partners to bring new medical devices to market.

The role requires strong technical and business understanding, and the ability to drive project plans, budgets and timelines from idea to implementation.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• Solid project management experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience with New Product Development, industrialization or manufacturing.
• Experience working with global project teams and international suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and execute project plans for new product development and product line development.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Plan and manage timelines, milestones, resources, risks and dependencies using project management tools.
• Ensure the necessary competencies and resources across phases of the project.
• Prepare investment applications and manage projects within approved budgets.
• Monitor progress, address issues, risks and changes proactively.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate across global teams and suppliers.
• Communicate project status, risks and issues clearly; escalate when needed.
• Apply project management best practices and improve ways of working based on learnings.
