Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to handle onsite projects in the Klang Valley area. You will be mainly responsible for monitoring and tracking project progress against the project schedule, ensuring that work proceeds as planned and minimizing delays.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project team, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure a clear understanding of technical requirements.
• Ensure construction work adheres to established procedures and specifications, overseeing quality of workmanship, materials, and processes.
• Verify, measure, and approve any changes or variations to the original construction plans before implementation.
• Manage and coordinate day‑to‑day construction activities, problem‑solve on‑site to address issues, and facilitate collaboration among the project team and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety measures are in place, health regulations are followed, and environmental requirements are met; monitor site conditions and conduct safety inspections.
• Meet ISO system requirements throughout the construction process, implementing and maintaining necessary procedures, documentation, and audits to comply with relevant ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post‑Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Civil Engineering/Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a must.
• Experience managing projects for high‑rise buildings and familiarity with architectural trades.
