Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of HRMS projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate should have a background in software development, specifically in HRMS, and possess strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of HRMS projects.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct project post‑mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management in the software development sector, specifically with HRMS.
- Strong understanding of software development and project management principles.
- Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project Management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- PMP / PRINCE II / Agile PM certified.
