Job description
PROJECT MANAGER (EARTHWORK & INFRASTRUCTURE)
  • Lead, manage and supervise all earthwork, roadwork, drainage and infrastructure activities for the project in Johor.
  • Provide clear direction to contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship, adherence to specifications and timely progress.
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor site operations, identifying issues early and implementing corrective actions to avoid delays.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, levels and setting‑out for all infrastructure components.
  • Prepare, monitor and update project schedules, milestones, progress reports, cost control and resource planning.
  • Liaise closely with consultants, engineers, authorities, and the client to ensure smooth approvals and work execution.
  • Ensure all works comply with QA/QC, contractual obligations, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Lead coordination meetings and provide accurate reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Drive operational improvement, propose value engineering, and ensure efficient deployment of machinery and manpower.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in earthwork, roadwork, bridge work, or large‑scale infrastructure projects (highly preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge in cut & fill operations, machinery planning, drainage, utilities relocation, and ground improvement.
  • Well‑versed in contract administration, progress claims, EOT/VO matters, and project documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple work fronts and deliver under tight timelines.
  • High integrity, strong work ethic and commitment to project success.
