Job summary

Light Up 7 SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support end-to-end project coordination across multiple teams in a fast-paced digital agency.

You will help translate client objectives into actionable plans, monitor progress, and assist with schedules, budgets, and documentation. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in digital agency project management or related design, video, digital marketing, or website development projects.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in digital agency project management or managing projects in design, video, digital marketing or website development.
• Strong interest in the creative digital industry and willingness to grow within the field.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) to support client communication.
• Self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented with developing problem‑solving skills and a learning mindset.
• Able to stay calm and solution‑oriented under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the project team by understanding client objectives and project goals, and help translate them into clear action points.
• Assist in developing project plans and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
• Monitor daily project activities and follow up with team members to ensure work is progressing according to timelines.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, assets, and documentation to ensure deliverables are clearly tracked and communicated.
• Assist in coordinating resource assignments and proactively identify any potential resource challenges.
• Monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee and identify potential issues, and propose solutions in advance.
• Identify client needs and contribute ideas to ensure project outcomes align with objective and future opportunities.
• Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of high-quality service, and gather and act on client feedback.
• Maintain regular communication with internal teams and clients, and assist in preparing project updates and status reports.
• Support documentation of functional requirements, project specifications, and related material along with project team members.
• Conduct project debriefs by capturing lessons learned, documenting key outcomes, and ensuring insights are properly recorded and shared with the team.
• Prepare essential project documentation such as execution plans, SLAs, NDAs, and other required materials.

Self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented, with developing problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Able to remain level-headed and maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude under pressure.

Eager to continuously learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced digital environment.

Keen interest in staying updated with digital platforms, trends, and emerging technologies.

Passion for AI and emerging technologies, with a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace, and other web-based tools: knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an additional advantage.
