Job summary

A leading engineering contractor in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Manager. You will oversee critical project aspects including planning, budgeting, and construction progress. The ideal candidate has a relevant Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in palm oil mills. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. The role requires willingness to travel to project sites both domestically and overseas.

Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in palm oil mill projects.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Knowledge of palm oil mill processes and construction methods is highly preferred.

Willing to travel and work at project sites (domestic/overseas).

Merge Jati Engineering Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, was incorporated in 1999 as a supplier of engineering components and spares for palm oil mills. Since then it has progressed to become a successful turnkey contractor today with two subsidiary companies.

Our activities now are primarily on turnkey works for new palm oil mills, and on extension and upgrading of existing milling lines, with capability to cover the whole spectrum of earthworks, civil works, structural works, effluent treatment and electrical works.

We also undertake the supply and installation of machinery and equipment for refineries and other industrial plants, and we provide services for the erection of H.P. steam boiler plants, maintenance and repairs of oil mill machinery, rehabilitation of existing process lines, and extension/upgrading of process lines for milling capacity increase.

Our professional and transparent relationships with our clients, coupled with our business ethics and values based on fair business dealings, have resulted in many successful mill projects of differing designs, concepts and capacities ranging from 15 TPH to 120 TPH. Owners have invariably been satisfied with our costs, delivery timeliness, quality and high operating efficiencies.
