A construction firm is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for projects in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will manage project tasks, control budgets, and ensure compliance with specifications. Candidates should possess a Professional Certificate or higher in Civil Engineering or Architecture, with at least 7 years of experience. Strong teamwork and detail-oriented skills are essential, and willingness to relocate is preferred.
Ensure that projects or tasks assigned are completed on time.
Ensure that material control within budget.
Study, highlight and resolve any discrepancies of drawings, Bill of Quantity and specification.
Liaise and attend meeting with consultant, client, sub-contractors and/or suppliers.
Plan, implement and monitor the weekly programme so that the overall project programme is achieved.
To implement any and all relevant policies, procedures and work instructions as so defined in the Company's Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health (QESH) Management System.
To monitor and control project costing.
Liaise and coordinate with authorities for site inspections.
Liaise and coordinate with local authorities for approval. i.e TNB, Telekom, IWK, SYABAS & others.
Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.
