About Position

We are seeking a proactive and technically inclined Project Manager to lead and coordinate initiatives within the Support Team. The PM will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring timely delivery of support enhancements and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT Tech support across backup and recovery products.
  • Collaborate with technical support engineers to identify process gaps and implement improvements.
  • Track and report KPIs related to case resolution, customer satisfaction, and SLA adherence.
  • Coordinate with engineering and product teams for escalations, bug tracking, and feature requests.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis reviews and ensure documentation of learnings.
  • Manage resource allocation, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support beta testing coordination and feedback loops with support and product teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in backup operations, DR planning, and customer engagement.
  • Maintain alignment with compliance, audit, and data protection standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in project management within technical support.
  • Strong understanding of backup and recovery technologies.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and reporting.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English language (spoken and written) is highly desired, Japanese good to have.
Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with Suite and other backup tools (Veeam, Veritas, NetBackup).
  • Technical understanding of Windows/Linux servers, VMware/Hyper‑V, and networking.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
