Job summary

A construction firm is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple Industrialized Building System (IBS) projects in Malaysia. The candidate must have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and possess strong leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities include managing project teams, ensuring compliance with specifications, and liaising with clients and subcontractors. Experience in Building or Precast Construction is advantageous. The position is based in Selangor with multiple project locations.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Possesses good leadership and communication skills.
• Self motivated with passion for details, resourceful and computer literate.
• Experience in Building Construction and/or Precast Construction Works shall be an added advantage.

Job description

The Company is currently having some ongoing Industrialized Building System (IBS) projects in various location and is also in the verge of finalizing a few new more projects with overall location in Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Penang, Perlis, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Labuan and Johor. Currently, we have vacancy for Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager and Construction Manager positions to be based in Head Office, Putrajaya, Johor, Perlis and Other Location.

Responsibilities

• To manage multiple project concurrently
• To ensure jobs are carried out in accordance to required specification, quality, safety standard and effecting the optimum speed of construction.
• To plan, organize, lead, control and monitor the project teams to achieve the required objective of the projects
• To liase with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams and ensuring excellent communication between all parties.
• To coordinate with designers and consultants to ensure conformance of structural and architectural design.
• To coordinate with mould fabricator on mould design and fabrication.
• To maintain good documentation and filing system for the projects.
• The candidates is to be based in Head Office and other location as stated above and is expected to manage a few projects simultaneously.
