The company provides a platform for next-generation talents in the automated design industry, fostering an ecosystem for technological advancement in Malaysia.

Responsibilities & Authorities

The Project Engineer/Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering automation projects within scope, timeline, and budget. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure all technical and operational requirements are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong in automation systems, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of projects, from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project schedules, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate internal engineering, design, procurement, and production teams to meet project deliverables.
  • Manage scope changes, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
2. Technical Responsibilities
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Provide engineering support for automation solutions (e.g., PLC, SCADA, robotics, machine automation).
  • Assist in system design reviews, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), and commissioning activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with engineers to resolve problems efficiently.
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct project meetings, provide status updates, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of components or outsourced tasks.
4. Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare project documentation including progress reports, risk logs, meeting minutes, test plans, and final project handover documents.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety guidelines, and company procedures.
  • Other ad-hoc task assigned by superior.
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in automation, industrial machinery, system integration, robotics, or related projects.
  • Fresh graduate is also encouraged to apply for junior position.
  • Experience in managing engineering or technical projects preferred.
