Job summary

Voltz Engineering Sdn Bhd in Kulim, Kedah seeks a Project Engineer (Electrical Construction) to supervise site activities, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, fluency in English and Mandarin, proficiency in AutoCAD, and hands-on experience with electrical installations, testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical engineering is a must.
• Ability to design and draft with AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise project site work, construction operation and activities such as material delivery and M&E installation.
• Ensure project is completed within pre-determined cost and time.
• Attend site progress monitoring, attendance of subcontractors and workers.
• Liaise with main contractors, consultants and other M&E services.
• Produce shop drawings, method statements, risk control documents and related project documents.
• Assist in testing and commissioning, and site inspections with engineers.
• Prepare daily activity planning and programming.
• Demonstrate fast learning and a positive working attitude.

Project Engineer ( Electrical Construction)

Experience in electrical engineering is a must

Monitor and supervise project site work, construction operation and other activities i.e. material delivery, hoisting activity, M&E installation in Electrical works etc.

Responsible to handle and complete the project within the pre-determined cost & time

Attend project monitoring site work progress, sub-con & workers attendance

Liaison with the main contractors Builders, Consultants, other M&E services

Ability to produce shop drawings, method of statement, risk control documentations and all the necessary project documentations

To assist in testing and commissioning work, site inspection with Engineers

Prepare daily activities planning & programming

Fast learner and positive working attitude

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent

Knowledge in design and AutoCad are an added advantage

Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Able to coordinate, supervise and liaise with Clients, Consultants, Authorities and Contractors

Good Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact well at all levels

Mature personality, independent, initiative, self-motivated and have good technical skills in decision making

At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Applicants must be willing to work in Kulim, Kedah
