Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including subcontractor and workforce management, to ensure alignment with project schedules and quality standards.

Manage machinery and material delivery schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to address delays.

Assist in coordinating construction equipment, M&E works, manpower planning, and attending site meetings.

Track and prepare daily reports on work progress, manpower efficiency, and site activities.

Manage and update all required permits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues, escalating complex matters to superiors when necessary.

Review construction drawings, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with consultants to clarify design intent and project scope.

Estimate and monitor material usage to prevent wastage and ensure cost efficiency.

Conduct site measurements and verify the accuracy of quantities for progress claims and subcontractor billing.

Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and timely decision-making.

Coordinate technical submissions, approvals, and site instructions as required.

Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards.

Enforce safety protocols and promote safe work practices among all site personnel.

Prepare and develop submission drawings, shop drawings, and construction drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications, authority requirements, and industry standards.

Ensure all drawings are accurate, coordinated, and updated to reflect design changes, site conditions, and consultant comments.

Work closely with engineers, consultants, and site teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure drawings support smooth construction execution.

Maintain proper drawing documentation, revision control, and filing systems for easy reference and compliance.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least diploma in engineering (civil), engineering (mechanical) or equivalent.
• Preferably entry level specialized in engineering - civil/construction/structural or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years working experience in fire protection, cold water & sanitary plumbing, aircon services company will bean added advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction standard operating procedures and proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and skilled in AutoCAD drafting, including plan views, sections, elevations, and detailed construction drawings.
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and manage site operations independently.
• Capable of leading and working effectively with foreign workers and subcontractors.
• Must have a valid driving license, own vehicle, and willingness to travel as required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision; fast learner, proactive, and self-driven.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic, accountability, and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
