Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking a project coordinator to manage activities across software, mechanical, and electronics teams, ensuring projects meet specifications, quality, cost, and schedules. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering or Science and has at least 3 years of experience in project management within manufacturing environments. Familiarity with metal precision, plastic molding, or PCB assembly is essential. Strong communication skills are a must.

Job description

To coordinate all activities (software, mechanical, electronics) for purpose of meeting schedule, cost, quality and specification.

To act as the window between customer and internal engineering support in project bidding, product design, prototype development, industrialization and volume production.

To coordinate suppliers’ activities to meet project delivery, cost and specification.

To generate and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Science. Exceptional Diploma holders in Engineering may be considered.
• Familiar with either metal precision or plastic injection molding or PCB assembly or final assembly of electronic end products.
• Minimum of 3 working experience in the above fields, ideally in the project management of products or systems or sub-parts in a manufacturing environment.
• Possess good communication skills and an excellent team player.
