Job summary

A leading electrical engineering company located in Klang City is seeking candidates for a role involving LV Switchboard and MV Switchgear understanding, project coordination, and effective communication with clients and contractors. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with preference given to those with 1-2 years of experience in switchboard design. Qualifications

• Minimum certificate/diploma/Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in switchboard design and manufacturing is preferred.
• Low Voltage and Medium Voltage products and components knowledge required.

Job description

Location: Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam

Responsibilities

• Understand LV Switchboard and MV Switchgear
• Understand Schematic/Single Line Drawing and technical specification
• To clarify on technical specification issue with consultant and contractor to ensure compliance of the project
• To coordinate and communicate with clients, suppliers, contractors effectively to ensure timely delivery as per schedule
• To perform and monitor sub-contractors site work progress
• To participate site/meeting with clients/consultants/contractors to resolve project issues
• Coordinate and communicate with internal departments effectively to ensure information is aligned.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum certificate/diploma/Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in switchboard design and manufacturing is preferred
• Low Voltage and Medium Voltage products and components
• Knowledge in electrical system, testing and commissioning is added advantages
• Excellent problem-solving skill
• Good communication skill
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Able to travel
