Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Malaysia seeks an experienced engineering project manager to oversee genset enclosure projects from design to delivery. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, possess at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. This role ensures projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering project management, engineering design, or commissioning, preferably in the genset enclosure or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other engineering design tools.
• Strong understanding of genset enclosures, including ventilation, noise control, structural design, and material selection.
• Excellent project coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure cost and quality control.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, for liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee genset enclosure projects from design to delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Support site commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical evaluations.
• Identify and resolve project risks, technical issues, and engineering challenges.
• Prepare project progress reports and provide updates to management.
