Job summary

A leading earthwork and infrastructure contractor seeks an HR Administrator for a site in Gemas, Negeri Sembilan. The role involves managing HR matters for site staff and requires a Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources along with 2-3 years of administrative experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must and fresh graduates are welcome to apply. The contract lasts for 2 years with potential for renewal based on performance, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, Saturday mornings included.

Job description
  • Handle HR matters for site-based operational staff, including recruitment, leave, and resignation submissions to HQ-Human Resource Department.
  • Assist the manager in resolving employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
  • Support the manager with on-site disciplinary actions, including compiling and recording documents for submission to HQ-Human Resource Department.
  • Record and verify on-site manpower data against designations.
  • Record and manage documents, including employee attendance, working hours, diesel management records, all types of leave, hostel, and transportation.
  • Implement efficient documentation processes and workflows, ensuring compliance with company standards and practices.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.
Job requirements
  • Candidates should possess a Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources, or equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Experience working in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, Excel, Word) is a must.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Role details

Contract period: 2 years (renewable based on experience)

Working hours: Monday - Friday (8 AM-5 PM), Saturday (8 AM-1 PM)
