Job summary

A construction company in Malaysia is seeking an HR Assistant to handle HR matters for site-based operational staff. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources and 2-3 years of experience in an administrative support role preferably in the construction industry. The job requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently. Working hours are from Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with a contract period of 2 years, renewable based on performance.

  • Handle HR matters for site-based operational staff, including recruitment, leave, and resignation submissions to HQ-Human Resource Department.
  • Assist the manager in resolving employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
  • Support the manager with on-site disciplinary actions, including compiling and recording documents for submission to the HQ-Human Resource Department.
  • Record and verify on-site manpower data against designations.
  • Record and manage documents, including employee attendance, working hours, diesel management records, all types of leave, hostel, and transportation.
  • Implement efficient documentation processes and workflows, ensuring compliance with company standards and practices.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess a Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Experience working in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, Excel, Word) is a must.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
