A telecommunications firm in Malaysia is seeking a Project Support Assistant to provide administrative and drafting support for telecommunications projects. The role involves coordinating documentation, assisting Project Managers, and communicating with internal teams and clients. Candidates should have a diploma in Engineering, proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and good command of both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and the position is offered on a 1-year contract basis.
Provide project administrative and drafting support to ensure smooth planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of telecommunication projects.
Experience in the telecommunication or construction industry
Familiar with project documentation, reporting, and record management
Basic understanding of project coordination and administrative processes
Able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external parties
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn
Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities.
Prepare, update, and maintain project documentation, records, and reports.
Perform basic drafting works using AutoCAD as required by the project team
Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting minutes.
Track project progress and update status reports accordingly.
Handle general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and report preparation.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and industry regulations.
Support the project team in resolving day-to-day project issues to ensure smooth operations
Diploma or higher qualification, preferably in Engineering or a related field
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drafting
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken)
Possess a valid driving license (Class B or D)
Willing to work on a 1-year contract basis
Experience in the telecommunication or construction industry
