Job description
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Sales Operation department to ensure smooth administration of the day-to-day operation.
  • Managing the correspondence and enhancing communication and relationship between the sales team and their customers.
  • Providing data and compile sales turnover report, key performance indicators (KPIs) report and other required reports using Glovia system and sales forecast report to help the sales team.
  • Request for periodic update of monthly sales forecast and annual demand from customers as and when needed.
  • Assist Sales team to make accurate and rapid cost calculations in preparing sales quotations to customers.
  • Receive and submit Sales Order Notification (SON) to Sales Operation Manager for approval.
  • Generate and process sales order and provide troubleshooting assistance for sales order, account statuses and relevant problems in a timely manner.
  • Keep record of sales trends.
  • Reschedule customer delivery date using Glovia system and assist in expediting goods delivery to customer within the operation.
  • Generate Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number for goods return from customer after verification and confirmation by Engineering, QA and Supplier Quality team.
  • Review pending orders and specific customer requests and coordinate with other related departments to fulfill the customers’ requirements.
  • Coordinate to ensure Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and New Production Introduction (NPI) from customers are communicated to the Engineering, Production, QA, Planning and Supply Chain Management team.
  • Negotiate and close sales of spare parts with customers.
  • Maintain an organized and accessible file system for Sales Operation.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies / Business Administration / Business Management / Marketing; or 1 year or more of related working experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Good team player.
