Job summary

Monash University Malaysia is seeking a Professor across Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, AI, Cybersecurity or Quantum Computing for a fixed-term, full-time appointment at the Main Campus in Malaysia.

The appointee will lead research in thematic areas, contribute to education strategy, and mentor junior staff, with reporting to the Head of School and engagement across the School of Information Technology.

Qualifications

• A Level E academic is expected to exercise a special responsibility in providing leadership and in fostering excellence in research, teaching, professional activities and policy development in the academic discipline within the school or other comparable organisational unit.
• The academic is expected to lead the School’s research in thematic areas, and contribute significantly to the School’s long-term educational and research strategies.
• S/he is also expected to mentor junior staff on educational, research or career development matters.
