What You’ll Do

Safety & Compliance

Ensure the personal safety of the jobholder by the correct use of tools/equipment and wearing the safety accessories/equipment as supplied by the company.

Ensure Housekeeping and maintenance (5S) modules are in place.

Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and enforce this practice within the team. Achieve full compliance to food safety management & hygiene systems & GMP audits and implementation rate.

Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards obtainable in the industry and as KORE guideline. Conduct and monitor package verification and quality check, yield optimisation checks for rejects/breakage/net content/Brix.

Responsible & authorised to report if there is anything found in systems/procedure/activities which affect food safety and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.

Operational Key Duties

Achieve shift detailed production plan targets in terms of schedule, output, quality, food safety, hygiene, cost and consumer complaints.

Responsible for executing line operation start‑ups, production/process shut‑downs, cleaning and size changes. Production checklists are to be executed as per details in SOPs. Maintains good record keeping and retrieval.

Perform change‑over efficiently with sufficient and correct material staged/prepared for the shift. All change parts, mould and tools must be kept in clean, good condition, organised and easy to access for operation.

Ensure performance data updated and maintain in monitoring system as assigned by business such as Line View, manual hourly report etc.

Attend to BEC and COP activities on machineries or equipment as planned.

Accountable to keep safe the line’s equipment, change parts, production instruments and operational tools such as walkie‑talkie, transponder, tools and cleaning tools.

Complete end‑of‑shift paperwork and submit all reports to senior technician for verification.

Participate in Shift Review meetings on shift basis, Daily Management System (DMS), ensuring all KPIs are tracked and gaps are highlighted.

Maintenance

Conduct operation of machinery or equipment to detect malfunctions (7 types of abnormality) and close 70% of abnormality findings. Participate in troubleshooting during shift operation and, when required, escalates issues arising to superiors timely.

Effectively operate machinery, performing troubleshooting when equipment issues occur and master at least one machine operation and willing to rotate/support when the other team member requires it, e.g., breaktime etc.

Active participation in Plant Wide EDGE as per RACI (Responsible – Accountable – Consult – Inform) matrix in the pillar, and circle structure.

Involve in weekly Preventive Maintenance (PM) activity.

Documentation & Reporting

Production checklists are to be executed as per details in SOPs/OPLs. Maintains good record keeping and retrieval.

Prepare/revise one‑point lesson (OPL) or any document upon request by production executive.

Communication

Ensure all internal and external correspondence is in accordance with the Company requirements.

Discuss with senior technician and production executive on production schedule, highlight any concern on the production schedule and suggest a solution.

Work closely with other functions for improvement, complaint investigation, root cause analysis and etc. to achieve company objectives.

What We’re Looking For
  • Diploma in Technical field (food or related engineering) or equivalent; or Vocational training or certification in manufacturing, food processing, or related field.
  • Fresh graduate from related courses; or
  • Minimum of 1‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or beverage production.
  • Experience operating and maintaining production equipment and machinery.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of manufacturing equipment, such as mixers, fillers, and packaging lines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address operational issues effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough quality control checks.
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and practices to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination.
  • Basic understanding of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues or findings accurately.
